If you had a time machine, what time period would you visit and why?
The Middle Ages was an interesting time period; it was just stabilizing as a society and becoming more technologically advanced. It also had a very famous city in the Byzantine Empire called Constantinople, the capital of Rome, where Istanbul is currently located. Constantinople had a sewer system and cared about its citizens. The homeless could do work, like sweeping the streets and other things in exchange for bread. I love Istanbul, my city, and I am curious about understanding its history from the very beginning.

If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have?
Exactly the job that I am doing now; I am very passionate about Clinical Development. I enjoy my job so much and it fits me so well that it hardly feels like I’m working!

What’s the best way to start the day?
Turkish breakfast! Turkish breakfast culture is something else. A wide variety of local ingredients are incorporated into the meal; the table brims with olives, cheese, honey, eggs, dough-based dishes and jams. Turkish cuisine is as rich as the cultural heritage and geography of Turkey. Turkish cuisine intertwines the cuisines of Ottoman, Central Asian, Eastern European and Middle Eastern. Countless olives and types of cheese, different egg dishes, varieties of jams, dough-based dishes and delicacies are what enrich Turkish cuisine. As a tradition, Turkish people have been savoring and refining the art of a beautiful breakfast for hundreds of years. I also like the breakfast ritual here in Sweden, but wherever I go the Turkish breakfast ritual will always be my favorite.
