Contract research organizations (CROs) are vital in bringing together industry, healthcare, and regulatory agencies to design and conduct clinical studies. By enabling clinical research, more patients will have access to better healthcare in the future.
One example is an ongoing clinical study at Skånes University Hospital (SUS) in Lund where a new minimally invasive method is being evaluated for removing brain tumors with a laser technique developed by Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (CLS AB). This technology makes it possible to treat patients with difficult-to-reach brain tumors, who were not able to be treated previously.
