With sights set on growth

Scandinavian CRO is growing quickly. We have therefore just completed a growth program organized by Almi Företagspartner for companies that are in a strong growth phase or have the potential to grow. The plan is that we will double our workforce in the Nordic region within five years.

In order to participate in the growth program, the company must be profitable and have the ambition to grow substantially. Almi wants to offer its support so that companies can organize their growth and avoid common mistakes. They also want the companies to start work on their growth during the course of the program.

– The growth program has been amazingly successful, including skilled coaches and a good sounding board. It has been exciting to learn from other companies that are also in the growth phase, said Marie Wiklander, Director of Clinical Operations at SCRO.

In addition to regular strategic meetings with other companies in the growth phase, companies have been helped with growth analysis and business modelling, as well as individual coaching by a growth mentor, Marie-Louise Kjellström. Her experience includes being Sales Director at SAS and CEO at the Grand Hôtel, Stockholm, and she is currently working as a corporate advisor.

– It has really been exciting and rewarding to follow SCRO’s journey. They are very talented and knowledgeable and they really get things done. Ulrika’s strong and inspiring commitment as owner, CEO and leader is of utmost importance for the company’s development, said Marie-Louise Kjellström.

She has worked as a growth mentor for other companies and believes that all companies have different challenges – this is due to, among other things, the branch they are active in, and the owners. However, one challenge that is common to many is to build a corporate culture that supports growth. Here she thinks SCRO has managed well so far and has all the prerequisites for success in the future.

– With the program we have had to raise our eyes and gain valuable insights into the company’s range of services and market position. It will help us in the next step. At the same time, we have to be careful not to rush, but must ensure that the company can handle expansion, concludes Ulrika Hammarström Lüllmaa.
